Communications Chair/Social Media Chair
Communications are a vital part of our organization because everything we share with our community is communicated by this team.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and implementing social media and communications campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
- Creating/ providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts.
- Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
- Leveraging AF National for event visibility.
- Working closely with Membership and Programming.

Membership Chair – Recruitment and Retention
Helps current members maximize the value of their membership and prospect members to see the value of becoming one.
Responsibilities:
- Developing membership acquisition and retention strategies.
- Recruiting and engaging members, helping them to understand and experience the benefits of belonging.
- Analyze results of monthly acquisition activities.
- Working closely with Programming and Communications.

Partnership Chair
Helps plan and manage partnerships for the chapter of the Alliance Française of Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Soliciting local vendors for sponsorship/ advertising opportunities with AF Birmingham.
- Creating a list of partnership prospects.
- Creating and/or updating partnership plan.
- Managing the delivery of partnership benefits.
- Working closely with Programming, Membership and Communications.

Programming Chair
Helps plan and execute programming calendars for the Alliance Française of Birmingham community.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting keynote speakers and secure venues.
- Building sponsorship in as many events as possible.
- Collaborating to develop events that drive member-value and attract new prospects.
- Measuring quality and effectiveness with event surveys.
- Working closely with Partnerships, Membership and Communications.

Receptionist/Host
To help the Alliance, please consider volunteering to host a reception in your home. If you are able to do this, contact Hospitality Chair Annie McCarter at amccarter@att.net.
Responsibilities:
- Make your home or private space available for the duration of a night
- Ideal space will have accomodations for up to 15-20 people
